of a Career?

The College’s Business and Accounting programmes continue to provide an excellent springboard for both employment and entry into Higher Education.

The College provides the location for Kent’s first fully accredited teaching initiative for Accounting and Financial Services. A Centre of Vocational Excellence and Career Academy in Finance are operating in Dartford as a key part of the College’s workforce development strategy in conjunction with the Learning and Skills Council to meet the requirements of employers locally, regionally and nationally in this sector.
The range of full-time courses being run there over two years are providing high quality education, learning and training within an area undergoing considerable economic change under the Thames Gateway regeneration programme.

In 2007, 32% of Business students went into employment and 54% onto higher level courses within three months of completing their course.
