
SEEKING A CAREER IN THE
PUBLIC EYE?
The School of Sport and Public Services offers a wide range of full-time courses that continue to attract large numbers of students at all ability levels from North West Kent and surrounding areas.
These courses include NVQ Levels 1,2 and 3, BTEC Level 1 Diploma and BTEC First and National Diploma lasting one or two years. Subject content is both diverse and challenging.
In addition, the School offers students a number of National Governing Body Coaching Awards in a range of sports.
The College has unrivalled purpose-built sports facilities for Sport and Public Service students at both the Dartford and Gravesend sites and includes large multi-purpose sport halls, swimming pools and sports fields with a fitness centre at Gravesend.
The College also operates a highly successful health and fitness centre ‘Body Matters’, which is open to both students and the public.
In 2007, 30% of full-time Sport, Public Service students went into work and 62% onto higher level study within three months of completing their course.
